LIFE
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
In verse 7 we see that the MOST HIGH GOD created man from the dust of the earth. However, before GOD breathes life into him, man was no more life like than a statue. When GOD breath into his nostrils, the scriptures say that man became a living soul.
In Genesis 1:27 we see that GOD created man in HIS own image, in the image of GOD created he him; male and female created he them.
GOD wanted people like Him. People he could fellowship with. People who would love Him and worship Him. These people had to be like Him, perfect and without blemish. However, once Adam and Eve fell, they could no longer fellowship with GOD because when Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit of the garden they became dead. They were as dead as when they were first formed from the ground. And we know that the dead can never fellowship with the living. However, unlike the newly formed image, these still had motion. Even though they were spiritually dead, the bodies still had life. The bodies still had motion. THEY WERE FOR ALL PURPOSES DEAD MEN WALKING! , OR AS THE HORROR MOVIES PUT IT, THE LIVING DEAD.
Unredeemed mankind are literally the Living Dead. They have motion, they eat, they talk, they fellowship with one another, but they have not GOD, and GOD is life.
Now the Most High God is so good so kind and so loving, that He has established a plan from the foundations of the world, of how he would redeem mankind. How he would set things right and bring us back to him.
The fall of man did not catch GOD by surprise, because GOD has never learned anything new. Even before man fell GOD knew this would occur, and that is why He made a plan to redeem man before man was ever created. God is so good and so awesome that it staggers the imagination.
In Deuteronomy 30:19 the Lord even tells us what we should choose, because man is so gone, so dead, he needs to be told even to choose life. As you see today many people choose death. They are into the occult, sexual immorality etc.. Deueteronomy states:
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
God tells us that He has given us a choice. A choice between death and life, a choice between heaven or hell, and he tells us to choose life. GOD will only do what is best for you. He is only concerned about our best interest.
So, GOD says choose life.
As for me and my house we will serve the LORD. We shall choose life. Even though we all fall short in our lives, GOD is our strength, and He will forgive us, and pick us up, and move us along the straight and narrow path.
WHICH IS HIS SON CHRIST JESUS.
THE SIMPLE THINGS
Have you ever thought about the simple things in life. The simple things in life are what really count. Have you ever thought about when you were a child how you had fun doing almost anything, and had no worries at all. Even those who may have been abused, and had hard lives, there are and were always times that you had so much fun that you wished this day could last forever. Well that is what GOD wants to give you for eternity. He wants to give you everlasting life. That’s life that will never end. Days where you are always happy. Days where you do not have to worry about the credit card collector, or the IRS, or the devil. Days of peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. We can have some of those days while on earth right now, because God will give us peace in the midst of a storm. However, the true manifestation of that will not come until we go to heaven and be with the Lord, or when He raptures us out of here.
Look at a baby. Look at how innocent they are, and how beautiful they are. They are a blessing from the Lord. A child is so much a blessing, that before I had my first child I did not know what I was missing.
The simple things in life is what counts, and only what you do in this life for Christ is what will last.
Playing Games
Today many people are playing church. They go to church every Sunday, but have not truly committed their lives to Christ. They still commit adultery, they still smoke dope, they still commit fornication, without ever feeling remorseful about it. When a person can continue to live in an ongoing unrepentant life of sin, you have to wonder if he or she was ever truly saved. The bible says, test yourself to see if you are truly in the faith.
One of the worse things in the world is self deception. When people have convinced themselves that something is right when deep down they know it is wrong. Just like HOMOSEXUALITY. I believe that in the beginning they know it is wrong, but they tell themselves lies so much, that they begin to believe their own lies.
Romans 1:24 says:
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:
I tell you, it is bad when GOD gives you up. There will more than likely be no way out of your sin after that. You will continue to live in a LIE until you die, and stand before the great White THRONE to be judge by GOD.
Now I am not just attacking the homosexual. I am also attacking those who live in an on going sinful life of fornication. Having sex outside of marriage. Both is sin, and all will be judged who do such things.
Many people believe in Buddhism, Islam, and their own system ,but there is salvation in no other but the Jesus of the bible.
John 5:39 states:
John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
If you believe in Jesus Christ, make sure it is the Jesus of the bible, and not some man made variation of the scriptures. Search the scriptures for yourself. For in them are God’s holy word, and they will show you the path to salvation.
Psalms 16:11 state:
Psalms 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Once again we see that GOD will show us the path of Life. He will not allow us to stumble in the dark. He says seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be open. God has stated that he will show us the path, and the path to life is in His son Christ Jesus.
In John 14:6 Jesus said:
…. I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus says that he is the way, or the path to finding life, and that no one can obtain this life but through Him alone. The reason that Jesus is the only way, is because he is the only one to pay the price for our sins. He is the Lamb of God slain from the foundations of the world.
You see, someone will pay the price for your sin. Either you will allow Christ to judge your sin on the Cross at Calvary, or you will pay for you own sin in hell for eternity.
Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
In other words, there will be no escape if we neglect the salvation of GOD. Salvation delivered to us by the death of His only begotten son.
John 3:16:
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
AND GOD SAYS CHOOSE LIFE!!!!!
